The American Red Cross has been in emergency mode to get blood from donors since July, and they are always looking for new donors and they hope to find ways to add more to their banks for those who need it. You can find a local blood drive near you at redcross.org. Follow that link and type in your zip code to find all the locations from a 5 to 50 miles radius of you.

Remember: The summer months are the most difficult time of year for blood donation centers. People are busy with their own agenda that the regular donors forget about the national need. If you can help the Red Cross build their blood supply back up, they would greatly appreciate it!
