Dustin Lynch Talks New Album / Alan Jackson Re-Releases DVD

— On Wednesday (8/9), Dustin Lynch held a special party at the historic George Dickel Distillery in his hometown of Tullahoma, Tennessee, where he revealed details about his upcoming third studio album. After joining members of the media on an extensive tour of the distillery, Dustin announced that his new album, titled Current Mood, would be released on September 8. Now, Dustin’s new album, Current Mood, has been in the works for three years, and apparently there’s a pretty good reason why:


— Today (8/11) marks the re-release of Alan Jackson’s live concert DVD, Precious Memories, Live at the Ryman. Shot at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. The video features Jackson’s stage performances from his first gospel recording, Precious Memories, originally released in 2006. The DVD also includes behind-the-scenes interviews with Alan, his mother and his wife as he reflects on his musical roots.

— Kip Moore is celebrating a major career milestone this week, with the news that his debut album, Up All Night, earned a RIAA Platinum certification for sales of one million copies. Kip was surprised with a plaque commemorating the accolade during an intimate event in Nashville on Wednesday night (8/9). Up All Night was released in April of 2012 and produced the three No.1 hits, including “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck,” “Beer Money” and “Hey Pretty Girl.”
