After Nearly a Year Sam Hunt Releases New Music [watch] / Jennifer Nettles Gives Commencement Speech

— More than a year after releasing his record-breaking hit “Body Like a Back Road,” Sam Hunt returned to country radio with the brand new single, “Downtown’s Dead,” giving fans another taste of Hunt’s highly-anticipated second studio album.

Sam announced the new single on Tuesday (5/15) morning, deleting all of his pictures from Instagram and posting a series of new images that were taken in the small colonial village of Bernal, Mexico. One of the pictures shows Sam riding a motorcycle through the streets, while another shows the town’s icon colonial church building.

— On Saturday (5/12), Jennifer Nettles returned to her alma mater Agnes Scott College to give the commencement speech to the class of 2018 graduates.

During her speech at the private, women’s college, Nettles challenged graduates to choose love over fear and to be curious and chase their dreams. Jennifer then ended her speech by singing a tradition Irish blessing.
